Reflection of "Trouble Talk" by Trudy Ludwig

Do you believe people are capable of change? Why/Why Not?
Why Not? Because some people just do bad things to you. But, some people can change their ways. Sometimes they need to outgrow their behaviours. And sometimes, their bad behaviour grows with them into adulthood.

Do you think Bailey deserves a 2nd chance if she is truly making an effort to change?
Yes. Because trouble talk is the worst thing you would ever do. Maybe Maya can forgive her very soon.

What would it take for Bailey to regain Maya's trust and friendship?
Number 1, no chatting too much about stuff that isn't true.
Number 2, somebody will tell an adult about what Bailey is doing wrong.
Number 3, Bailey has to be not trouble talking, ever!
Number 4, someday, Maya will trust her soon, possibly take time to earn it back.

This story related to me because...Trouble talking is completely bad and can hurt other people's feelings. I heard 2 boys talk about me and be mean to me. Mostly (all the time), they boss me around. It makes me feel sad :,'(. I hope one day they'll be learning to not be mean to me or anyone else.

Do you ever look at someone and ask yourself, "What is going on inside their head?" Well, I know! Welcome readers. You better hold on tight! You're about to go inside your own mind! We watched this movie because it has to do with our Social-Emotional Learning and Zones of Regulation! The main characters are Joy (the happy female emotion), Sadness (the sad female emotion) and Bing Bong (Riley's male imaginary friend). The secondary characters are Fear (the scared male emotion), Disgust (the picky female emotion) and Riley Anderson (the 11 year old girl who is controlled by her emotions). We watched this movie because we have emotions (Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger) inside of our heads! The movie is about an 11 year old girl who moves from the mid-west to San Francisco. Her father (Bill A.) starts a new job. Riley and everyone else are guided by their emotions, Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger. This video made me remember my emotions and how I deal with Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger. This movie relates to me because, I have feelings, I have these feelings daily. They should have discussed that Sadness is trying to find her true purpose, and she did. Inside Out is nominated for 2 Oscars (Best Original Screenplay and Best Animated Feature)! In my opinion, it should do well. I loved the intense film score and Abstract Thought scene! Emotions will always guide you in life through ups and downs and everything in between.

Hi, my name is SuperAwesm Justin007! What does kindess mean to myself? Well, it's the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate! Why should you show kindness? In my opinion, you have to be good, nice to friends and adults, showing respect and no swearing or calling down a person! Why should others be kind? Exactly, that's the best question to ask! Well, if they want friends, then they have to be friendly, nice and curtious to you. Now, you must remember this.
K-kind to others
I-inspirate yourself
N-never be mean
D-do friendly stuff
So now you know this...THE END!!!

Bullying is the deliberate and often repeated attempt to  intimidate, embarrass, or harm another person!
Bullying can cause lots of sadness and harm!
Repetition: incidents of bullying happen to the same person over and over by the same person or group!
We need to raise awareness in the schools and online away from the schools!
Many types of bullying includes...
Verbal: name-calling, teasing
Social: spreading rumors, leaving people out on purpose,
breaking up friendships
Physical: hitting, punching, shoving
Cyber bullying: using the Internet, mobile phones or
other digital technologies to harm others

Effects of Bullying
Some students experience stress related illnesses including
anxiety, headaches, stomach issues, panic attacks, and
depression
More than 4,000 teens commit suicide each year and are
linked to bullying
Studies show that all three participant groups (bullies,
victims, bystanders) are affected by bullying. Bystanders can
feel a sense of powerlessness, fear of being victimized, and
anxiety that they'll do the wrong thing in the social group. In
addition, they can become desensitized to negative behavior
and many repress feelings of empathy for bullying victims.

How am I gonna raise an awareness towards bullying?
I, Justin "SuperAwesm Justin007" Pershick, will protect my friends, family and anyone i'm related to, by speaking up for them whether I tell an adult or someone I trust!
